For the growing community of English speakers in Cabo Rojo and its surrounding areas, The Gathering @ Ciudad de Refugio offers a vibrant and welcoming environment to worship and connect with faith. Though the church services in English are held just outside Cabo Rojo, its roots remain firmly planted in this beautiful town. Established in 2014 by Pastor David Rusi alongside Pastors Ramon and Carmen Hernandez, The Gathering was created to meet the spiritual needs of the English-speaking population in the region.
Held every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the services are filled with powerful worship, uplifting music, and meaningful fellowship. Whether you’re new to the area or have been looking for an English-speaking congregation, The Gathering invites you to experience the transformative power of faith.
With dedicated ministries for youth and children, it’s also a place for families to grow together in their faith, offering a supportive community that welcomes people from all walks of life. Led by Pastor Hector Boucet and his wife, Miriama, The Gathering fosters spiritual growth for both the young and old, ensuring a strong biblical foundation.
