on the corner of Ruiz Belvis behind the Catholic Church. This monument is dedicated to the founders of the town of Cabo Rojo, especially to the 128 families who signed the petition and to their leader Don Nicol\u00e1s Ram\u00edrez de Arellano who was the person that the Caborroje\u00f1os appointed to represent them before the governor of that time.
